Most recently until December 2021, he was the MD for Boehringer Ingelheim (BI), India. His prior leadership roles include – SVP, API and Global Head – DRL Director Strategy – Engelhard and ICL. Sharad Tyagi is now CEO & Co-founder of Tiyash Consulting and is based out of Mumbai, India.

With over two decades of experience, Girish has a proven track record of success in areas including New Chemical Entities (NCEs), Generics, Over-The-Counter (OTC) products, Biosimilars, Specialties, Value-Added Generics, and Medical Devices, spanning all global markets.
Girish’s expertise covers all facets of the pharmaceutical business. He is adept at leading teams in Global Business Development, Commercial Operations, Supply Chain, Portfolio Strategy & Management, Regulatory Affairs, Intellectual Property, Legal Affairs, Mergers & Acquisitions, and Alliance Management. His extensive leadership training includes executive programs at both Harvard and Oxford University, equipping him with the skills to drive strategic growth and innovation within the industry.
